Based on my experience looking into similar situations, it seems there may be more to this crash than what's in the reports. The truck may have overturned, but photos I'm seeing appear to show a relatively undamaged truck. So why did the driver need to be airlifted?

It could be as simple as the driver not wearing their seatbelt, but even that can be complex. I've seen plenty of crashes where police immediately assumed a driver wasn't wearing their seatbelt because they were thrown from their seat. Then, once there were more thorough independent investigations, it turned out there was a defect of some kind with the seatbelt or even the seat assembly itself that caused the driver to come loose despite them being safe.

Maybe nothing like that happened here, but it's important to consider all possible factors so folks can get as much help as is available to them.
