Commentary on 18-wheeler Accident on LBJ Freeway in Dallas

Police seem to have suspected factors surrounding this crash, but I can't help wondering where they got their information. It's entirely possible there were plenty of witnesses to explain what happened, but my concern is the victim may not have been in a position to tell their side of the story. After all, the 18-wheeler involved here left the scene.

Was that the only mistake they made, or were they more involved in the crash than reports suggest? Continuing to put these details in the public eye may yet provide answers if someone is able to connect the dots and identify the truck driver involved. That could be a significant step in getting someone some much needed help.
