Injuries Reported in 18-wheeler Accident on I-84 near Warrendale, OR
Warrendale, OR -- July 14, 2022, injuries were reported following an accident after multiple vehicles crashed along I-84.
Multnomah County officials responded to the area along I-84 not far from Cascade Locks. Right now, the cause of the crash remains unclear. Officials said only that at least six vehicles, including an 18-wheeler, crashed along the interstate. This resulted in the 18-wheeler overturning onto its side.
At least one person was taken from the scene for treatment, and reports say there were only minor injuries. No further information is available at this time.

It's not unusual for there to be few details surrounding any commercial ruck wreck, let alone one involving multiple vehicles. They can be incredibly complex if only due to the factors that a prudent investigators needs to be able to rule out or otherwise bring to light.
Anything from mechanical issues to cargo shifts to road hazards to medical conditions can cause a chain reaction like this. Simply assuming someone was on their phone, likely as that is, isn't the best way to ensure the victims and families involved get the help they need. That's why these kinds of crashes are often better off in the hands of independent investigators, and the same could very well prove true here.
