Driver Injured in Truck Rollover Accident on Big Lake Road in Lake Charles, LA

Lake Charles, LA -- July 13, 2022, one person was injured following an accident where a truck crashed and overturned along Big Lake Road.

Investigators reported that the crash took place Wednesday afternoon along Big Lake Road off West Gauthier Road.

It appears that a vehicle pulled into the path of an 18-wheeler, causing the 18-wheeler to run off-road and overturn.

Due to the crash, the truck driver had reportedly minor injuries. No other injuries were reported. At this time, additional details are pending further investigations.
