Commentary on Nolanville Man Truck Accident on FM 147 in Limestone County

There's not much one can do with an animal running in the road, but it's also important to keep in mind these reports aren't always telling the whole story. All kinds of things can go wrong with commercial trucks that need attention after a crash.

For example, if a truck driver should have been able to maintain control when swerving to avoid an animal, failing to maintain control can be a sign of things like load shifts, faulty tires, poor maintenance, or a lack of proper training. That's not always something a driver has complete control over, which is why it's important to ensure experienced investigators look into crashes even when the facts seem clear. There's no telling what other factors could be at work here.
