One Injured in Car Accident on Loop 1604 in San Antonio, TX

San Antonio, TX— July 11, 2022, one person was hospitalized and another was detained after a crash on Loop 1604 in Northwest San Antonio.

According to reports the incident happened around 4:40 a.m. on southbound Loop 1604 near Bandera Road. Preliminary investigation suggests two sedans collided in the roadway under unknown circumstances. After the impact one vehicle ran into the grassy median and the other hit some scrub brush along the highway access road.

One driver was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The other was reportedly detained on suspicion of DWI.

The incident remains under investigation. No further information is currently available.
