Commentary on Single-Vehicle Accident on I-20 in Kilgore

It's obviously concerning anytime alcohol comes up in a crash report. One thing to consider is what that can mean for getting people the help they need, since those crashes can often involve outside parties. If an alcohol provider such as a bar over-serves someone, and that leads to an accident, that establishment can be liable under dram shop law.

Of course, that is just one possibility here, and it requires thorough independent investigations even if authorities can confirm that alcohol was a factor. For all we know, this all was the result of something like fatigue, tire failure, mechanical defects, a medical emergency, etc. Likely or not, it's important to ensure all possibilities are considered by experienced investigators so those affected by the crash at least have every possible opportunity to get the help they need.
