Commentary on Kristen Wallace Truck Accident in Sanger

There isn't much information about what happened here, and I can't help but wonder if proper attention was given to find out the cause of the crash. A vehicle losing control merging onto an interstate is often a sign they were going too fast or not paying attention. That could be what happened here. But there are also reasons a driver wouldn't have control over the situation, and that's even if these reports are accurate to begin with.

Kristen Wallace Injured in Truck Accident in Sanger, TX

I'm not trying to say I know more about what happened here than the reports. It's just when someone has serious injuries, it's important to take the early reports with a grain of salt. They don't always reflect both sides of the story. If someone is unresponsive or taken to a hospital before authorities get to the scene, the crash report may only be the officer's best guess at the events and perhaps statements from the other driver, who could potentially have motive to tip the scales in their favor.

Maybe everything is being handled properly here, but if steps haven't been taken to properly investigate these events, my concern is something important may have slipped through the cracks. Independent investigations is one potential avenue through which folks can get all the answers and help they need. Have those steps been considered here?
