Commentary on DUI Truck Accident on SR-201 in Magna

It's obviously serious to see someone accused of driving while impaired while behind the wheel of a commercial truck. If it's true that's what happened here, then simply arresting the truck driver may not be telling the whole story. Investigations often show a driver who is intoxicated in a work vehicle does so frequently. That's something employers should generally be able to catch, which gives concerns that there may be a company involved here too inept to keep up with their drivers or reckless enough to ignore something as serious as substance abuse issues. Is that something authorities looked into here?
