Commentary on Truck Accident on Old Route 13 in Marion
There aren't many clear details here yet, but if vehicles headed opposite directions collided in the road it seems likely that at least one of them crossed over the center line. If so then among all the other things to learn about this wreck there are two urgent questions to answer: Who crossed over and why?
People may have their own theories about that, but it's always best to rely less on guesses and more on clear evidence. When the facts can do the talking there's much less room for confusion or "creative" interpretations of events.

With that in mind investigators should look for every source of facts they can find. What does the electronic data from each vehicle say? Do debris analysis and tire marks show who crossed over? Could someone have lost control while having a medical emergency? What overall condition were all three vehicles in, and could a damaged or defective part on any of them have contributed to the crash? How were visibility and sightlines? What about road conditions? Weather? Was someone distracted? If so, by what? Were there witnesses to the crash who could shed more light on what happened?
Those are just a few of the many questions that must be asked after such a serious accident, and the victim's family deserves to know every effort was made to get the full story. Do the authorities have the needed time and resources to do the job right, or would independent investigations better ensure the truth is found?
