As straight forward as these reports may seem, someone still lost their life. That alone should warrant every effort to ensure their loved ones are getting the full story. I've come across plenty of situations where someone was on a highway and the factors turned out to be a lot more complex than they initially seemed. Maybe there were extenuating circumstances here authorities overlooked in their initial investigations. One way or another, it's important folks avoid jumping to conclusions until steps can be taken to bring all the facts to light.
