Commentary on Car Accident at Dowdy Ferry in Dallas County

Early in the morning, it's easy for folks to jump to conclusions about what led to a serious car crash. Most of the time, it's something like speeding, fatigue, or distraction. It's also important to look into things like someone being drunk from a previous night out at the bar, since those bars can also be responsible if they illegally over-served that driver.

But as unlikely as something like a mechanical defect or road hazards might be, for example, they still warrant thorough investigation so nothing important slips through the cracks. That's why I'm always so adamant about independent investigations after a serious crash like this. Making sure folks have all the facts is crucial in ensuring they get the help they deserve.
