Devine, TX -- April 29, 2022, Hilda Vazquez Esquivel, Julianna Morales, and one person were injured in a car accident off the interstate.
Authorities reported that the crash took place at around 8:53 p.m. along I-35 at CR-777. In reports, officials said that 26-year-old Hilda Vazquez Esquivel was in a Cadillac CTS traveling along the I-35 access road. Reports say Vazquez Esquivel's vehicle was going the wrong direction when it somehow went off-road and overturned. The vehicle then crashed into the back of a Volkswagen Jetta driven by Julianna Alyssa Morales.
Due to the crash, Vazquez Esquivel reportedly had incapacitating injuries. Morales reportedly had possible injuries, as did a passenger in the Volkswagen. The exact cause of the crash cannot be confirmed at this time.
