Commentary on Briceida Garcia Denova, Noe Enriquez Aguilar Car Accident in Buda

Such a tragic accident, and it appears it may have been completely unavoidable. A tire blowout isn't generally the kinds of thing drivers can predict, except in situations where the tire needed to be replaced (which is unfortunately common). But a proper investigation into an accident like this must also consider the possibility that the tire was defective.

As unlikely as it is, manufacturing issues have caused deadly wrecks before, and they can certainly happen again. But without the right training and tools, it's not the sort of thing authorities tend to look into on their own. That's why my hope is experienced professionals who know what to look for are handling this crash and ensuring those involved are getting the answers they deserve.
