Jesus Gonzales Injured in Motorcycle Accident on Mines Road in Laredo, TX

UPDATE (July 1, 2022): Reports have identified the injured motorcyclist as 22-year-old Jesus Gonzales. Right now, additional details are unavailable.

Laredo, TX -- June 29, 2022, one person was injured due to an accident where a motorcycle and another vehicle crashed along Mines Road.

Investigators reported that the crash took place Wednesday evening at the intersection of Mines Road and Lowry Road.

Authorities said that a motorcycle and another vehicle somehow crashed, sending the motorcyclist to a hospital via helicopter.

The cause of the crash remains unclear at this time.

It's not entirely clear what happened here, and I can only hope folks aren't jumping to conclusions. A lot of people just assume motorcyclists are all reckless drivers, but they are often responsible drivers falling victim to people in larger vehicles not keeping a proper lookout for the bikes. Maybe nothing like that happened here, but there should at least be steps to ensure the investigators handling things are free of bias and will let the evidence speak for itself.
