Commentary on Teresa Trillo Accident in Grand Prairie
It seems from reports like the driver who ran the red light had a laundry list of violations: Speeding, running the light, driving without a license, fleeing the scene...He has a lot to answer for, not least of which is the serious injury he caused to the victim.
However, there's still more investigating to do even if police have the culprit in hand. It's one thing to say the driver ran a red light but another to find out why. Did he just think he could beat it, or was something else involved? Where did he come from before speeding along Jefferson? Where was he headed? Was the truck a personal or a commercial vehicle?
That's just a few of the many questions that still need answers to be sure the wreck is fully understood. It's always best to learn the whole story--not just to make sure everyone's on the same page but also to be sure that everyone responsible for the damage done is held properly accountable. Will police invest the time and care needed to get all the facts here?
