Commentary on Cecil Loveless Jr., Rita Loveless, Carlos Garza Car Accident in Conroe

If it's true that a car went through a red light, that's obviously a concerning sign the driver did something wrong. It's certainly worth considering things like speeding, cell phone usage, and even potentially being over-served by a local bar or restaurant which may the be liable for the crash under dram shop law. But those are just common factors. What about other possibilities?

Even unlikely factors warrant attention. This sort of story is not always within the control of the drivers involved. It's even possible police made errors in the reports or overlooked something that changes the circumstances. The goal should not be to throw blame around. Getting people they help they need means getting answers, and that means letting the evidence speak for itself. Are those steps being taken here, or would more thorough independent investigations reveal more to the story?
