Commentary on Steven Daniel Powers Single-Vehicle Accident in Denton

Steven Daniel Powers Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident in Denton, TX

With single-vehicle wrecks, I always have to remind people not to jump to conclusions. They tend to just assume that the driver must have done something wrong. Is that common? Certainly. Things like distraction, speeding, and alcohol are always worth consideration. That's especially important if the driver was coming from a local alcohol provider since they could be liable if they over-served the driver. But even unlikely possible factors like mechanical defects, roadway hazards, medical conditions, and even other vehicles that left the scene are also worth consideration. If nothing else, taking steps to ensure a grieving family is getting the answers they deserve is crucial following any fatal wreck. I see no reason why this crash would be an exception that that.
