The exact cause of the crash remains unclear at this time, and that's not exactly unusual this soon after a deadly truck wreck. The challenge, however, is making sure the right people are looking into things. Authorities can certainly do a fine job with their investigations, but not every department treats these incidents equally. They may not have the tools, time, or training to properly investigate something as complex as a commercial truck wreck--especially one apparently involving an explosion. That's one of the reasons I've always relied on independent accident reconstructionists who know that even unlikely possible factors warrant investigations if people are going to get the help and the answers they deserve. I see no reason why this crash would be an exception.
