Truck Driver Injured in 18-Wheeler Crash on I-95 in Howard County, MD

Howard County, MD — June 22, 2022, one person was injured in an early-morning crash between two tractor-trailers on Interstate 95 in Howard County.

According to reports the incident happened around 4:30 a.m. on southbound I-95 near State Route 216. Preliminary investigation suggests an 18-wheeler crashed into another one parked on the shoulder for unknown reasons. After the impact the striking truck overturned.

That truck's driver reportedly sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to an area hospital.

The investigation continues. No further information is available at this time.
