Commentary on Wyatt Adcock, Kendal Griffin Truck Accident in Bowie County

This all seems pretty straight-forward, and I certainly have no reason to doubt the initial reports. But with commercial vehicles, there can sometimes be extenuating circumstances authorities fail to look into.

Take for example a situation I handled a while back where a truck driver crashed while texting his supervisor. This supervisor would constantly call and text drivers all day, and if they took to long to respond, they'd get in trouble. This idiot of a boss didn't care about excuses like "I'm driving," or, "I don't want to kill myself or anyone around me." All he cared about was doing things his way, and workers trying to put food on their family's table were forced to engage in reckless behavior.

I'm not saying that happened here, of course, but that all only came to light through independent investigations from professionals with experience in truck wreck investigation. The same steps could show there's more to this situation, as well.
