Commentary on Tractor-trailer, Pedestrian Accident on I-71 in Medina County

Medina County, OH Tractor-Trailer Accident Injures 1 on I-71

While a pedestrian certainly shouldn't be on the interstate if they can help it, there's really not enough information in these reports to draw any conclusions. Maybe this was someone just being reckless, but it's possible the victim was clearly visible and avoidable. Even if someone is where they shouldn't be, drivers have a responsibility to do so if reasonably possible. Was this simply unavoidable, or is there more to this story authorities have yet to say?
