Three Injured in Car Accident on Jaime Zapata in Laredo, TX

Laredo, TX -- June 15, 2022, three people were injured due to an accident where two vehicles collided along Jaime Zapata Highway.

Investigators reported that the crash took place Wednesday evening along Jaime Zapata Highway at Los Presidentes. Officials said that two vehicles went through the intersection when a collision somehow occurred.

Two 19-year-olds reportedly had serious injuries while another person was flown to San Antonio for treatment.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

It's not clear what happened here, and maybe that's just due to police withholding specific details. But it wouldn't be the first time authorities didn't give a serious crash the attention it deserved.
