Jose Mendez Garcia Injured in Single-Vehicle Accident in Kaufman County, TX

Kaufman County, TX -- May 29, 2022, Jose Mendez Garcia was injured after an accident where Garcia's vehicle crashed off-road.

Officials reported that the crash took place at around 11:07 p.m. along FM 2728 just off FM 429. Investigators said that 23-yearold Jose Mendez Garcia was in a Ford Fusion traveling westbound along FM 2728. The vehicle somehow went off-road where it crashed into a tree.

Garcia reportedly had incapacitating injuries due to the crash. The cause of the crash has yet to be confirmed.
