Commentary on Dual Truck Accident on Highway 11 in Racine County
It's not clear what exactly went wrong here, but that isn't exactly unusual with a fatal truck wreck, let alone one this chaotic. It can take extensive experience, tools, and time to dig through all of those details. Quite frankly, the authorities don't always have access to those resources.

That's not to say officers can't do their jobs. On the contrary, the problem is usually that departments don't prioritize accident reconstruction highly enough to provide the training and equipment officers need. As a result, important details often slip through the cracks. For grieving families in need of answers and help, that simply won't do.
That's why it's so important to have experienced independent investigators look into crashes like this. As much as folks may look at attorneys as anti-trucker, a large portion of my clients have been families of truck drivers hurt and killed in devastating wrecks like this. I know how important it is to ensure the right people are investigating the crash to ensure those families are getting the answers they deserve. The question is if those right people are handling this terrible event.
