Commentary on Truck Tire Blowout Accident on Beltway in Missouri City
Such a sudden, unexpected accident taking someone's life is beyond tragic. Though it's crucial to find out just how unexpected it was. Something may have simply punctured the tire, and there isn't really much anyone can do about that. But could there be something more complex happening here?

One possibility, however unlikely, is that of a defect. In the past, manufacturing problems have led to issues where tires fail under normal use. Not only could there be a company responsible for this tragedy, but others could even be in danger, as well. Making sure experienced investigators look into this possibility is crucial for getting clear answers.
But something I know from thirty years of handling commercial vehicle wrecks is that a lot of companies out there are willing to put their drivers in vehicles that are in a complete state of disrepair. They shirk maintenance just hoping to get as much work done as possible while spending the least amount of money. The result is often that the employees and those around them are at the mercy of those irresponsible employers, and people inevitably get hurt. Could it be something like that happened here?
