Commentary on Woman Falling From Vehicle Accident in Sherman

Woman Injured Falling out of Vehicle on South Travis Street in Sherman, TX

People may be tempted to speculate about what happened here given the unusual nature of what caused this woman's injuries. Late at night, there's always the possibility of alcohol, which could then lead to a local bar that illegally over-served those associated with the accident who could be liable for their role in the injuries. That said, it's also possible this was a simple mistake, something complex and rare like a mechanical defect, or some other unusual series of events that investigators need to look more thoroughly into. That's one of the main reasons I so frequently discourage people from jumping to conclusions. Without considering other possibilities, important details could slip through the cracks.
