Steven Whited Injured in Tractor-Trailer Accident in Christian County, KY

Christian County, KY -- June 10, 2022, Steven Whited was injured after an accident where his tractor-trailer overturned.

Preliminary reports indicated that the crash took place early Friday along Lewis Road. Officials said 47-year-old Steven Whited was in a tractor-trailer when the vehicle suddenly lost control. The truck then overturned.

EMS transported Whited from the scene via helicopter. Police say they're looking into cargo shift as a possible cause for the crash.

If it's true that a cargo shift led to this crash, that can create a rather complex scenario. People tend to assume that would just be the truck driver's fault for not checking their cargo before driving or perhaps a co-worker for loading it improperly. That company isn't suddenly in the clear just because another driver is the one that crashed.
