Cactus Man Injured in 18-wheeler Accident on US 287 in Moore County, TX

Moore County, TX -- May 28, 2022, a Cactus man was injured due to an accident where a vehicle crashed with a tractor-trailer on US 287.

Investigators reported that the crash took place at around 1:00 a.m. along Us 287 near mile marker 52.

Preliminary reports said that a 43-year-old Cactus man was in a Chrysler traveling northbound along the highway. Somehow, the man's vehicle hit the back of an 18-wheeler, then ran across the median into the ditch.

The Cactus man had incapacitating injuries due to the crash. Police say alcohol could be a factor, but this and other details remain unconfirmed.
