Commentary on Possible Racing Accident on New Braunfels Ave in San Antonio

While it isn't unreasonable for authorities to consider racing as a possible factor here, my hope is they aren't forsaking other possible explanations to pursue some red herring. Maybe the victims involved here were engaged in a street race, but maybe this other vehicle was being reckless on their own and caused the victim's car to lose control.

This late at night, one also can't rule out the possibility of drunk driving, which could lead not only to serious charges for a drunk driver but also consequences for the alcohol provider under dram shop law. Obviously, finding out for sure is going to require continued efforts from investigators to find out exactly what happened here.
