Commentary on Truck Accident on FL-223 in Starke

Reports sound like a reckless driver butted into the box truck's lane and triggered this crash. It's unclear whether that person remained at the scene but for their sake I hope so--both to avoid charges and to tell their side of the story.

With that said, though, building the report purely on word of mouth from the people involved rarely works out. There may be conflicting versions of what happened coming from the drivers, so facts derived from careful investigation are always better for telling the real story. Those facts may be crucial in helping the injured victims get back on their feet; will law enforcement be careful and thorough enough to find them?
