Commentary on Garbage Truck Accident on Highway 19 in Windsor
It's at least encouraging to see that injuries here were minor, though that's no reason to take the situation lightly. I've seen cases where "minor" injuries turned out to be anything but, and it's important folks are as prepared as possible following a truck wreck.

A while back, for example, a man came to me about a crash he was involved in when his and another commercial vehicle collided. Afterward, doctors sent him home with little more than instructions to use a heating pad for his sore back. Later, however, that soreness became crippling pain. Further tests showed the crash ruptured a disk in his spine. That "minor" injury ultimately required surgery and months of recovery, not to mention a challenging back and forth with the insurance company to get them to take responsibility.
Again, I truly hope nothing like that happens here, but that man was able to get help because he sought help as soon as he could. Others that wait too long may find they no longer have access to the tools and evidence required to get the help they need. As they say, it's prudent to hope for the best while preparing for the worst.
