Commentary on Semi-Truck Accident on NW 10th in Oklahoma City

Since it appears this is a single-vehicle wreck, folks may be quick to assume that the driver must have screwed up. That's possible, of course. In fact, it's pretty darn common. But just because things like mechanical defects, medical emergencies, tire blowouts, cargo shifts, road hazards, and other such things are less likely doesn't mean they should go overlooked. A prudent investigator will have the experience and tools to consider all of these possibilities to ensure the evidence can speak for itself. Once that happens, the path to getting folks the help they need should be clear.
