Commentary on 18-Wheeler Accident on I-15 in Salt Lake County
Right now reports only seem to say that a car and a truck crashed on the highway. It's unclear how that happened or how the impact made the truck overturn, and rather than anyone jumping to conclusions it's a much better idea to find clear evidence of what happened and let the facts do the talking. Not only does everyone involved in the crash deserve to know exactly how and why it happened, but all that evidence is almost always necessary if there's any call for holding someone responsible--especially in accidents involving commercial trucks.

To be clear, I'm not saying I know more or better than anyone else how the wreck on I-15 occurred. I only know from long experience that nobody should be deciding that for themselves instead of letting investigators put in the time and work to figure it out the right way. If police aren't inclined to do that and questions remain after they close their books, then maybe it'd be best to let an independent investigator take a second look.
