With situations like this, it's important to make sure experienced professionals are looking into what happened. Quite frankly, authorities are not generally equipped to handle something as complex as a commercial truck wreck. While this sort of thing is usually the result of things like speeding, fatigue, or distracted driving, less common factors, such as mechanical issues, poor training, defective tires, cargo shifts, etc., are far more challenging to consider. Without the right equipment and training, important information can easily slip through the cracks. It remains to be seen, then, if the right professionals looked into things here to find out what happened and to consider what possible steps the victims can taken to get the help they need.
