It's not unusual for there to be so few details available this soon after a commercial truck wreck. The question, however, is whether or not the right people are looking into things. Commercial truck wrecks can be incredibly complex. If professionals handling things don't have the tools or experience to dig into things, important details can easily slip through the cracks. That's why I make sure professionals independent of the police have a chance to investigate a serious truck wreck. If nothing else, getting victims and families the full story needs to be a priority. It can be a vital step to getting them the help they need, and it can be a step simply toward getting closure. It remains to be seen if those steps are being taken here. In the meantime, are there any locals that can clear up what may have gone wrong here?
