Commentary on Stephanie Marie Perez Single-Vehicle Accident in San Antonio

With single-vehicle wrecks like this, a lot of people will probably just assume the driver was drunk on their way home from a bar. That is very common around 2:00 a.m., and it could actually mean that some local bar illegally over-served the victim and needs to be held accountable for their role in the woman's death.

But is that the only possibility? Of course not. There may have been mechanical issues, road defects, a tire blowout, a medical emergency, fatigue, another driver that left the scene, etc. Even unlikely circumstances need to be considered here so the victim's loved ones know they're getting full story. Are those steps being taken?
