With tire blowouts, things can be a bit more complex than folks realize. It's not just about what happened but simply finding out for sure what caused the blowout. Most of the time, it's just something in the road puncturing the tire or the driver failing to replace worn tires. That may be what happened here. However, it's also possible a defect led to the blowout. It's not as common, but manufacturing issues can cause serious accidents like this. That's not the sort of thing authorities tend to look into, which is why it's so important to make sure there are thorough investigations from experienced professionals to ensure nothing important slips through the cracks.
