Commentary on Luciano Garza Alvarado, Beatriz Govea Alvarado 18-wheeler Accident in Frio County

It's just infuriating to see someone run from the scene of an accident. If these allegations are true, that person absolutely needs to have their day to answer for what happened. It isn't really clear if police ever apprehended the suspect here, but thanks to the victim's apparently quick action, they likely have the information they need. One thing to consider, however, is if more than just a single driver needs to be held accountable for this.

Here's what I mean by that. A concerning possibility with situations like this is the possibility there's a company out there that knew this incident happened and did nothing to rectify the situation. While most companies would immediately contact authorities after finding out a driver was involved in a hit-and-run, some companies would simply lay low and hope their driver doesn't get caught. Other times, companies will hire drivers with a history of reckless driving but allow them to drive for them despite knowing the risks.

In either case, a company like that is likely putting others in danger. That's why it's important to be thorough and ensure the victims know all the facts. Not only do they deserve as much help as they can get, they deserve to know those responsible for their hardships are being held accountable.
