Commentary on Tyree Javar Smith 18-wheeler Accident in Dallas

It seems like a professional truck driver should have a little bit more awareness of their surroundings. Authorities recount a pretty straight-forward series of events, so barring something unusual police overlooked, it's likely that the driver just wasn't paying enough attention. However, getting folks the help they need means ensuring they're getting all the facts. Besides, that can reveal more serious issues that require more serious consequences.

Tyree Javar Smith 18-wheeler Accident Dallas, TX

In a recent case, for example, a reckless truck driver turned out to be an untrained truck driver. His employer rushed him through the safety training, barely ensuring he could put the truck in park and drive before tossing him the keys and putting him to work. They didn't care about the safety of the public or even their own employee. Any respectable trucker can attest to the level of care and skill it takes to safely operate a commercial truck. That company either didn't care or was too inept to see the problem.

Put simply, a situation like that needs a lot more than a police report, however it clear it may be. Besides, most folks that come to me for help also want to be sure those responsible for their hardships are being held accountable for their actions. Perhaps more thorough investigations could show there's more to this story, as well.
