Man Injured in Rollover Accident on FM 205 in Erath County, TX

Erath County, TX -- April 20, 2022, one person was injured due to an accident where a vehicle crashed and overturned along FM 205.

Investigators reported that the crash took place at around 12:12 p.m. along FM 205 off the corner of CR-437.

According to officials, 23-year-old Jenna Nicole Proctor was driving a Jeep Wrangler along FM 205. The vehicle somehow ran off-road where it then overturned.

A passenger in the Jeep sustained incapacitating injuries in the crash. Police say they believe alcohol was a factor, but this remains unconfirmed.

It's obviously serious anytime authorities bring up alcohol, but it's important to keep in mind that this remains unconfirmed right now, there could be other factors contributing to this crash, which is thorough independent investigations are often so important. That said, those investigations would also be important if alcohol did indeed contribute to the crash. This is due to the complexity of dram shop law.
