Pedestrian Injured in Hit-and-run Accident on Martin Luther King in Houston, TX

Houston, TX -- April 21, 2022, one person was injured after an accident where a vehicle hit a pedestrian along MLK, then left the scene.

Investigators reported that the collision happened at around 11:45 p.m. along Martin Luther King Boulevard off the corner of Bellfort Avenue.

According to officials, a 30-year-old woman was walking when a vehicle somehow went onto the sidewalk and hit the pedestrian. The driver then fled the scene.

Reports say the woman had incapacitating injuries due to the crash.
