Baytown Man, 1 Injured in Car Accident on US 183 in Briggs, TX

Briggs, TX -- April 10, 2022, a Baytown man and another person were injured due to an accident where their vehicle overturned off US 183.

Authorities reported that the crash took place at around 5:31 a.m. along US Highway 183 in the area of Loop 308.

According to officials, a Baytown man was in a GMC Canyon traveling northbound on the highway. Somehow, the vehicle went off the side of the road where it then flipped over.

The driver had incapacitating injuries, reports say. The passenger may have been injured, as well. Police say there were alcohol containers in the vehicle, but they have not confirmed the cause of the crash.
