It's not clear what exactly happened here, but one would hope the authorities are hard at work looking into things, considering someone lost their life. Unfortunately, getting a family the answers they deserve often requires more than a simple report from authorities. Perhaps the officials in charge of all this are hard at work getting answers, but not every department prioritizes commercial truck accident reconstruction. As a result, important details can slip through the cracks.

Were there mechanical issues? Cell phone usage? Fatigue? Road hazards? Is there a history of reckless driving involved here? Was someone intoxicated? Were any other vehicles involved? Who had the right-of-way? These are just some of the questions that need answers. Without the right tools and experience, getting those answers may prove too steep a task. That's why I usually ensure independent investigators look into complex truck wrecks like this. It's likely similar efforts will prove necessary here, as well.
