While these reports seem pretty clear, folks should always anticipate potential challenges standing between them and the help they need. It just so happens that with motorcyclists, those challenges can be a lot more significant. This is due simply to the fact that a lot of people have a negative view of motorcyclists. They just assume riders are always being reckless and causing accidents. As such, they're more willing to believe claims that a motorcyclist was being negligent even with little to no evidence.

Few understand this more than insurance companies whose priority after an accident is to avoid as much responsibility as possible. If they can shift blame onto the victim, then they can significantly minimize their losses. That's just another reason folks need to understand the value of proper independent accident reconstructionists. I rely on them precisely because they help ensure that nothing important slips through the cracks.

Even unlikely factors get the attention they deserve. By doing this, victims and families can have as much evidence in their corner as possible to tell their side of the story. Negative bias can create serious barriers, but facts speak volumes. Letting the evidence speak for itself would likely be a prudent approach to a crash like this, as well.
