As likely as it is for speed to contribute to a crash like this, it's always important to ensure that investigations are thorough. Authorities are not always experienced when it comes to commercial truck wrecks, and that can cause them to overlook unusual circumstances. Things like cargo shifts, mechanical issues, hours of service, mechanical defects, poor training, and other factors tend to slip under the radar unless examined by a professional with extensive experience handling commercial truck wrecks. That's why it's best folks don't go jumping to conclusions here until they're more certain they're getting the full story.
