Commentary on Donald Ray Buster 18-wheeler Accident in Nacogdoches

With a situation like this, it shouldn't be unreasonable to say there needs to be a complete understanding of what exactly went wrong. What all that entails, however, isn't always so obvious. Folks see something like a crossover wreck, and they tend to think that's a pretty clear-cut thing to look into. Well, a case I handled not long ago proved otherwise.

Donald Ray Buster 18-wheeler Accident Nacogdoches, TX

In that situation, police said a driver lost control and veered over the center line, hitting an 18-wheeler head-on. The family asked us to look into things just to be thorough. Through more thorough investigations, we found that police actually got the facts wrong. It was actually the truck that went left center, so the victim swerved left to avoid it. The semi then veered back to the right where the vehicles collided.

Now, I'm not trying to say I think that happened here. That kind of mistake isn't exactly common, but mistakes do happen. When they do, and there's no one conducting more thorough investigations to catch those mistakes, how can people be sure they're getting the full story? That's why crashes like this can become challenging without experienced professionals handling things. Taking every step to rule out or confirm even unlikely circumstances is crucial for getting people the answers they deserve. Are those steps being taken for the loved ones affected by this tragedy?
