One of the many reasons families have sought my help over the years is because they waited around for the authorities only to find they didn't get the answers they needed. Those who sought help sooner rather than later usually had the most opportunity to get those answers, which is why I always encourage folks to ensure the right people are looking into the crash as soon as possible. Were there mechanical issues? Was someone on their phone? Were there issues with the road? Were there any other vehicles involved? Is this stretch of road uniquely dangerous? Is there a history of reckless behavior that contributed to this crash? These and other questions need to be at the forefront to ensure the grieving family affected by this tragedy gets the answers they deserve.
