Keith Gazley Killed in Bicycle Accident on TN-22 in Huntingdon

Huntingdon, TN -- April 27, 2022, 47-year-old cyclist Keith Gazley was killed in a collision with a tractor-trailer on State Highway 22 South in Huntingdon.

Authorities say the incident happened around 7:30 a.m. on TN-22 at Veterans Drive. Preliminary investigation suggest the semi-truck was turning from Veterans Drive onto the highway when it collided with Gazley's bicycle. According to reports Gazley and the bike went under the truck's trailer after the collision.

Gazley suffered fatal injuries in the collision.

Police say dashcam footage from the truck and witness statements led them to believe the semi-truck driver was not at fault.
