One Killed in Auto-Pedestrian Accident on Ed Bluestein Blvd in Austin, TX

Austin, TX -- April 25, 2022, one person was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident after a preliminary crash on Ed Bluestein Boulevard in East Austin.

Authorities say the incident happened around 3:15 p.m. on the 1400 block of Ed Bluestein near Bolm Road. Preliminary investigation suggests only that the victim may have been involved in a single-vehicle accident and then exited their vehicle. After entering the road on foot they were hit by another vehicle.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation continues. No further information is currently available.
